Tieto has launched Tieto Connect, powered by Cumulocity’s Internet of Things platform, to aid Nordic companies in using industrial Internet.
The cloud-based Tieto Connect will help companies manage data and accelerate industrial Internet revolution. Companies can create IoT applications by delivering, storing, and visualising data from sensors and devices. It is driven by Cumulocity, a global provider of IoT platforms since 2010.
Tieto Connect comes with an analytics toolbox which enables companies to explore and visualise data through advanced algorithms and machine learning. By transforming data to information in this way, businesses can speed up processes for customers.
Jari Salminen, managing director at Cumulocity, said: “With Tieto Connect, powered by Cumulocity and the analytics toolbox, enterprise customers are able to execute their Smart Product and Smart Services strategies significantly faster and with minimum risks”.
Taneli Tikka, head of the industrial Internet at Finnish start-up Tieto, added: “I am thrilled that the Tieto Industrial Internet start-up has delivered its first customer projects. Industrial Internet is gaining speed in the Nordic region and beyond, and more and more companies are now starting to utilise the opportunities of the Industrial Internet,”
Tieto is working with solution providers and is looking for start-up companies to start an agile worldwide industrial internet ecosystem. They have announced they are working with Cisco, HSB living lab, and others to find IT solutions to improve living in the future.
